These are a pair of custom Air Jordan 1 mids themed after Absolute Superman. I actually created these sometime last year but never released them.
For those who are unfamiliar with this version of Superman, DC Comics has a line of comics known as the Absolute Universe line. This line of comics takes place in an alternate universe that is separate from the main universe that features the versions of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and the other iconic characters that we all know. The Absolute Universe also features the iconic characters, but these versions are reimagined versions with altered histories, altered looks, and differences in their histories and stories. Absolute Superman was one of the first books to launch from the popular line and one of my personal favorites.
I modeled the shoes after the original design of Absolute Superman's costume, which has a darker blue and a slightly different S logo (the blue on his costume was lightened a few months later after the end of one of their major storylines). Here is the original costume below:

The omega symbol on the upper side panels represents Darkseid, who in the comics created the Absolute universe using omega energy. The orange and yellow on the toe area was done to mimic his solar energy that can be seen flowing from his hands, boots, and cape.
These are the first Absolute Universe themed customs I have done, but definitely not the last. I also plan to revisit this theme later down the road. This pair is not available on the website, but if you are still interested in a pair, contact through the contact form below.
