The Mark 22 armor, nicknamed "Hot Rod", is another one of the Iron Legion armors seen in the final battle in Iron Man 3. The nickname comes from its similarity to Tony Stark's hot rod car which has a similar flame design. This armor would also be the prototype of the War Machine Mark 2 armor and has the same protection as the 1st War Machine armor with 1/3 the weight. It's also faster and more agile than its predecessor.
For the shoes, I wanted to go with the Jordan 7 Infrareds again. The reason I chose that shoe was because this armor also has the same base as the Iron Patriot armor (Iron Patriot, Hot Rod, and War Machine Mark II all share the same base so I wanted the same shoe for each. War Machine Mark II custom will be coming soon).

This was such a fun theme to make, as I think it's one of the most accurate to the armor design that it was inspired by.
