This is easily in my top 5 favorite Iron Man armors of all time, counting both the MCU and the comics. In fact, when I originally planned this series, it was originally only going to be 3 shoes and one of them was to be inspired by this very armor. This armor was introduced by Tony Stark in the second half of Iron Man 2 and worn when he and War Machine took on the Justin Hammer drones that were being controlled by Whiplash. This armor was also worn in the first half of The Avengers when Tony and Captain America confronted Loki and the battle on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier.
Now when I originally had the idea in my head to do this series, I already knew I wanted to take this armor inspiration and put it on an Air Jordan 7, which I thought would be a perfect base shoe for this idea. The exact shoe in question being the Air Jordan 7 "Infrared":

I feel like it was when I made it to this pair in the series that I started to experiment with new and different techniques in replicating the Iron Man armors, which is fitting considering how in the movies, the armors got more and more advanced as time went on.
Still a lot more to go in the series, but of all 25 shoes that I've done for the series, these are probably my favorite. So much so that I will be adding these to the store in the next few days.
