(See more details about the World of Stark series here)
While the Mark 1 armor is the first armor and the Mark 2 armor is the first that we get to see built using full access to the Stark technology, The Mark 3 armor is the first time we truly get to see the armor with full on Stark technology being used in battle and saving innocents. It's also the first armor we get to see incorporating an actual color scheme, that being the classic red and gold that would become a staple of the Iron Man armor collection.
Since I used a low top shoe for the Mark 2 (Nike Dunk Low), I wanted to use a low top for the Mark 3 as well, this time being the Air Jordan 1 low "Triple White". Although two different shoes, they both have some similarities in design layout.
Here is the original base shoe:

These were the most fun pair to make up to that point because they were the first ones where I finally got the chance to play around with the colors and certain details. Plus, I think the arc reactor light effects really bounce off the colors really well, giving it that true Iron Man aura and feel.
And the best part is, with Tony Stark's armor designs becoming more interesting and complex as time goes on, the shoe designs become even more interesting and complex as well. It only gets better from here!
Stay tuned!
