The War Machine Mark 1 Armor was the first official armor of Tony Stark's best friend, Col. James "Rhodey" Rhodes, and was introduced in Iron Man 2. The armor used Stark's Mark 2 armor as a base and was enhanced with weaponry and tech from the U.S. military as well as some from Justin Hammer. Rhodes, in the War Machine armor, would later team with Tony, who was wearing the Mark 6 armor, to defeat Justin Hammer's drones that were taken over by Whiplash.
I wanted to include this armor since it is technically a Stark armor as it uses the Mark 2 base (later War Machine armors would be fully Stark creations), plus Rhodey is an awesome character who has been part of the Iron Man lore in the comics for decades (and in the comics, was actually the main Iron Man for a brief period).
As for the shoes, for this theme, I went with an Air Jordan 1 mid again. This time the AJ1 Light Smoke Grey Anthracite (I had these sitting in my personal stash unused for months and thought they would work well for the theme).

I wanted to include minor details from the actual suit, such as the numbering and lettering on parts of the suit (I'm guessing some type of model number?). And since most of the photos I researched had the eyes and arc reactor lights with an orange or reddish orange glow, I decided to make the glow the same or similar color.
This is just one of the James Rhodes armors to be featured in this series (the next one will be in my next series update and I can't wait to show it!).
